Ingredients

Scale
  • 46 cloves Fresh Garlic, finely minced
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 1/2 cup Beef Broth
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/2 cup Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • Fresh Parsley or Chives (for garnish)
  • Optional: a tiny pinch of Red Pepper Flakes

Instructions

  1. Begin by placing a medium-sized saucepan or skillet over medium heat. Once it's warm, add 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter and let it melt completely.
  2. Once the butter is melted, add your minced fresh garlic to the pan. Sauté the garlic for about 1 to 2 minutes, stirring constantly until fragrant and slightly softened.
  3. Pour in 1/2 cup of beef broth into the pan. Stir well, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Bring the broth to a gentle simmer and let it reduce slightly for about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Reduce the heat to low. Carefully pour in 1 cup of heavy cream, stirring constantly until fully incorporated with the broth and garlic. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Gradually sprinkle in 1/2 cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until melted and the sauce looks smooth and uniform.
  6. Once the cheese is fully melted, season the sauce with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  7. Continue to simmer the sauce gently on low heat for another 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until it thickens to your desired consistency.
  8. Once the sauce has reached your desired consistency, remove it from the heat. Pour it generously over your freshly cooked steak, or serve it alongside for dipping. Garnish with fresh parsley or chives.

Keywords: Be careful not to burn the garlic, as it can turn bitter. Fresh herbs like parsley or chives add brightness to the sauce, and using high-quality ingredients will enhance the overall flavor.
