These Juicy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Burgers are infused with the rich flavors of garlic and Parmesan cheese, making them a delightful treat for any occasion. Perfectly juicy and tender, they are sure to impress at your next barbecue or weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 pound of ground chicken, 3 cloves of minced garlic, ½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese, ½ cup of breadcrumbs, ¼ cup of chopped fresh parsley, 1 teaspoon of salt, and ½ teaspoon of black pepper. Mix everything together with your hands until well combined, but be careful not to overwork the meat.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each one into a patty about ¾ inch thick. Make a slight indent in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up while cooking.
  3. Place the patties on a plate and cover them with plastic wrap. Let them chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. This helps firm them up and enhances the flavors.
  4. Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat and lightly oil the surface. Cook the patties for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  5. While the burgers are cooking, lightly toast your burger buns on the grill or skillet for added texture and flavor.
  6. Place each chicken patty on a toasted bun and top with your favorite toppings. I love adding lettuce, tomato, and a drizzle of garlic aioli or mayonnaise for an extra kick.

Keywords: Don’t overmix the ingredients to avoid tough burgers. Allowing the cooked burgers to rest for a few minutes before serving helps retain their juices. Feel free to experiment with additional ingredients like sun-dried tomatoes or spinach.
